Senses

1. After eating too much, your hearing is less sharp.
If you’re heading to a concert or a musical after a big meal you may be doing yourself a disservice. Try eating a smaller meal if you need to keep your hearing pitch perfect.

2. About one third of the human race has 20-20 vision.
Glasses and contact wearers are hardly alone in a world where two thirds of the population have less than perfect vision. The amount of people with perfect vision decreases further as they age.

3. If saliva cannot dissolve something, you cannot taste it.

In order for foods, or anything else, to have a taste, chemicals from the substance must be dissolved by saliva. If you dn’t believe it, try drying off your tongue before tasting something.

4. Women are born better smellers than men and remain better smellers over life.
Studies have shown that women are more able to correctly pinpoint just what a smell is. Women were better able to identify citrus, vanilla, cinnamon and coffee smells. While omen are overall better smellers, there is an unfortunate 2% of the population with no sense of smell at all.

5. Your nose can remember 50,000 different scents.
While a bloodhound’s nose may be a million times more sensitive than a human’s, that doesn’t mean that the human sense of smell is useless. Humans can identify a wide variety of scents and many are strongly tied to memories.

6. Even small noises cause the pupils of the eyes to dilate.
It is believed that this is why surgeons, watchmakers and others who perform delicate manual operations are so bothered by uninvited noise. The sound causes their pupils to change focus and blur their vision, making it harder to do their job well.

7. Everyone has a unique smell, except for identical twins.
Newborns are able to recognize the smell of their mothers and many of us can pinpoint the smell of our significant others and those we are close to. Part of that smell is determined by genetics, but it’s also largely to environment, diet and personal hygiene products that create a unique chemistry for each person.

Giant Neanderthal Hybrids Today

Modern Neanderthal Giants

The prehistoric giants displayed archaic or "primitive" characteristics of a furrowed brow, sloping forehead and massive jaw.  The current archaeological steadfast theory of "replacement" is slowly being replaced by the "assimilation" model that professes the Cro Magnon and Neanderthal did mate to create a hybrid race of giants.
These physical characteristics do still occur with modern populations.  Nikolai Valuev, a former heavyweight boxer is 7 feet and 325 pounds.  This is the face of the ancient race of giants that was so prevalent in the Bible, at Stonehenge and the Ohio Valley.

The sloping forehead and protruding brow ridge were the major reoccurring skull characteristic of the giant remains found within the mounds in Great Britain and the Ohio Valley.

A large skeleton was removed from a mound at Stonehenge, with "primitive" characteristics of a protruding brow ridge and sloping forehead.

This skull was taken from a burial mound in Circleville, Ohio.  I sent a picture of this skull to one of the most prominent archaeologists in the country who has studied thousands of skulls.  I had told him that the origin if the skull was unknown, and I was inquiring to identify the racial identity.  He wrote back and said that the skull had prominent European skull characteristics.  When I told him where the skull came from he recanted his assessment.....

Throughout history, traditional medicine has helped many people. When used appropriately, traditional medicine can be safe health solutions.

However, when used inappropriately, such as traditional herbal medicines may cause losses. To use traditional medicines wisely, it is important to realize that there is always the element of risk.

Let us see what are the risks to be aware of when using traditional medicine. Although traditional herbal medicines are safer than modern pharmaceutical drugs, herbal not without risk.

Thus, the question arises, warnings and recommendations that should be kept in mind what a person when considering treatment with traditional medicine?

Precautions in Selecting Traditional Medicine

You should be wary of traditional medicines that you buy. There are many cases of traditional medicine circulation withdrawn from the market because it proved to contain certain chemicals that can cause serious side effects.

One way to detect the presence of a mixture of chemicals in traditional medicine among others, by observing the speed of usefulness. Traditional medicine like herbs usually do not merit an instant, if there is so suspicious of the additional chemicals.

In recent years, there are also reports of traditional medicinal products contaminated with heavy metals and other contaminants. In addition, there are traditional medicinal products that turned out to contain little or no ingredients listed on the packaging.

Of the cases above, it is clear that traditional medicinal products, as well as other drugs, should be purchased at places that are trustworthy and reputable. Yes, buy from a reputable source and already have a marketing authorization. And do not forget, watch the expiration period.

Dosage Use of Traditional Medicine
A practical guide book titled The Complete Medicinal Herbal Herbal stated, "?? Although most traditional or herbal medicine basically quite safe, it should be used with proper.

Do not exceed the recommended dose, do not continue use if the disorder is not abated, or even worsen, or if the proper diagnosis is doubtful. "??

Yes, make sure that you understand and follow the instruction manual. You need to know how much medication should be taken, when to drink, and for how long. You also need to know the food, beverage, and what other medications or activities that should be avoided when taking herbal medicine.

Circumstances not possible to use traditional medicine

Another warning, the use of traditional medicine is very risky for certain people. People who take certain traditional medicines should be careful when going to undergo a medical procedure that requires anesthesia.

Dr. John Neeld, president of the American Society of anesthesiologists, explains, "?? Based on experience, it has been reported that several kinds of popular herbs, including ginseng, can cause fluctuations in blood pressure. It can be very dangerous when anesthesia is given."??

The doctor adds, "?? Plants other drugs, such as Ginkgo Biloba, Ginger, and feverfew, can interfere with blood clotting so it is very dangerous when epidural anesthesia is given-if there is bleeding near the spinal cord, paralysis can occur.

Among American anesthesiologists also recommend their patients to discontinue the use of certain traditional medicines at least two weeks before surgery because of the risk of interactions between herbal medicines and anesthetics, including increased chances of increased blood pressure or bleeding during the surgery which of course can be life-threatening.

Among pregnant and lactating women in particular must be aware of the risks that can be suffered by her and her baby due to a particular use or combine traditional medicine with conventional medicine given.

Clearly, it is important to know the reactions that can occur when traditional medicine is used alone or in combination with certain prescription drugs.

Therefore, patients are encouraged to discuss with your doctor or an expert in traditional medicine (herbalist) before deciding to use certain traditional medicines or if you want to combine traditional medicine with certain medications as prescribed.

The number of traditional medicinal products on the market would make you confused in choosing the right traditional medicine, therefore please read the article Recommendation of Traditional Medicine Whats Right for Me? to get the information you need.

Awesome Exploding Water Balloons Crystallized in Time

Snapshots of water-filled balloons bursting figure as amazingly frozen moments in time. Granted, they also bring back memories of when you were a young scamp, mischievously dropping water bombs on hapless cyclists from overpasses,
or soaking whole streets in drive-by drench-athons – but those days of innocence are gone now. So, it just leaves us to sit back and wonder at the beautiful physics of the things – as well as the devilish uses to which they can be put.

In a general sense it’s all to do with pressure – like peer pressure, but without the wicked little peers saying stuff like, “go on, soak the suckers, or we’ll soak you”. Yes, pressure. The pressure of the point of the pin, needle or whatever else it is that exerts force on the balloon, and the high pressure of the water inside the balloon, which is suddenly allowed to disperse. Since the water cannot all escape from the tiny hole pricked in the elastic material, it bursts to even out the pressure.

But enough talk; let’s see some shots of a water bomb bursting in sequence. A dart is let fly en route to puncture a balloon…

When the dart pierces the skin of its target, the balloon creases as it starts to split open, while ripples in the water’s surface tension begin to appear.

The water’s effervescence becomes more turbulent as it bulges, making its escape, even as the latex of the balloon surrenders to gravity.

Then there’s the magic moment from a photographic point of view, the instant when the water, shorn of its rubbery mould, still holds its roughly pear-shaped form…

…Before collapsing in a shower of water droplets.

s with so many things that are meant to be fun, some folks seem to take it all so very seriously. Throwing techniques include: not tying the water balloon closed but instead just twisting the end a few times so water begins to squirt out on the flight path; and overfilling the balloon so there’s enough weight and water to cause a good soaking even if it explodes on the ground. There are even accessories called ‘water balloon launchers’ as well as different types of nozzles and valves, all brought to you by a variety of money spinning manufacturers.
Maybe we’re traditionalists here at EG, but give us any balloons and we’re away, off on a journey of mischief and mayhem. Yes, we know you’re not supposed to use standard air balloons because they’re meant to be too thick, but when you’re holding a water bomb as big as a watermelon, no matter how hard to handle it may be, you know you’re going to cause a splash if it’s dropped from a great height. Oh yes.
